Who this is for
Homeowners, buyers and sellers come to us when a transaction turns on evidence rather than sentiment. Lenders and mortgage brokers engage us to support financing. Lawyers, executors and accountants rely on our reports for separation agreements, estate settlement and capital-gains filings. Realtors bring us in for independent second opinions on challenging properties — rental-pool strata units, ALR acreage, ski-in chalets and unique alpine homes.
Who builds and runs it
Sea to Sky Appraisals is an independent practice built and operated by Matthew Callaghan, PREC*. Matthew has appraised residential property between Squamish and D'Arcy since 2009, through two Olympic cycles, the rise of the nightly-rental market and the buildout of Rainbow, Sunstone and Cheakamus Crossing. The practice operates as Matthew Callaghan Personal Real Estate Corporation and is associated with Unison The Ryan Group Realty, based at Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler. Every report is written, signed and defended personally — never subcontracted — and delivered in three to five business days.
